Winifred Green

May 25, 1944 - January 8, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Winifred (Winnie) Florence Green on January 8, 2018 at the age of 73 after multiple courageous battles with cancer.

Predeceased by her loving husband Barry of 45 years, Father William (Tom), Mother Edith, sisters Gladys and Edna.

Survived by her sons Brad (Jasserina) and Kevin (Darla), much adored grandchildren Kendra, Logan, Kara and Lexi. Sisters Jean, Vera, Norma, Evelyn and Barbara. Brothers Jack, Percival, Fred and Sam.

Winnie was a member of Eastern Star in Nanaimo, BC where she enjoyed helping those in need. She had a passion for spending time with family, in the outdoors, gardening, travelling and taking daily walks with friends and family.

No service by request. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
