William Fraser

August 8, 1941 - January 14, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce Bill’s sudden passing from cancer at UBC Hospital on January 14, 2017. Survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Ora Lynn, his two cherished children Allen (Jen) and Stefani. Bill was predeceased by his parents Esther and Bill Fraser. Bill was a special man, a true gentleman, a wonderful husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Bill had a fine mind and graduated “with distinction” from the University of Alberta.

In his professional life, Bill was a charming extravert and super salesman. In his personal life, he was a thoughtful artist who created exceptional photographs of his beloved city, Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation to support VGH Eye Care Centre. Special thanks to Dr. Diane Villanyi and nurse, Vienna. No service by request. A Celebration of Life will be held this Spring at a local golf course. Bless you Bill. You will be greatly missed.
