Ronald Edward Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ron on May 7, 2019 with his family by his side.

Ron was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on February 3, 1937. He moved to Vancouver in 1949 were he attended Kitsilano High School. Upon graduation he started working at Canadian Pacific Airlines in their printing department until his early retirement in 1990. Ron had many interests including travelling, fishing, welding, wood work, gardening and his pets.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annice. His sons, Don (Jodi) and Jim (Brenda) and his two granddaughters, Jessie & Sam as well as the four dogs that gave him much enjoyment and companionship.

Ron is remembered for his endless kindness, friendship, and his willingness to fix anything with his welder and will be greatly missed by all friends and family.

A service will be held at 11:30am on May 23, 2019 at  St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 8680 Hudson Street, Vancouver, BC, with a reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
