Rhys Ramen Griffiths



It’s with a very heavy heart that our family announces the sudden passing of Rhys Ramen Griffiths, who passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia on December 8th, 2023, at the age 30 years.
 

Rhys was born in New Westminster, British Columbia on June 11, 1993, and will be remembered for one of the kindest most caring souls, who always loved making people smile and laugh. Rhys will always be forever loved and remembered by his loving father David W. Griffiths, sister Annie J. Griffiths, his mother Rita Prakash, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rhys is predeceased by his grandparents on his father’s and mother’s side (David and Annie Griffiths, Ramen and Jai Prakash), and his beloved cat Kitty Griffiths. We will miss him dearly but take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his grandparent’s, his uncle’s Robert Griffiths, Arun Prakash, and cousin Kyle Griffiths. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 am (PT) at the Canadian Memorial Centre for Peace, 1825 W - 16th Ave., Vancouver, B.C., with burial to follow at the Pacific Heritage Cemetery, located at 4305 Halifax St., Burnaby, B.C.
