Penny McGregor

October 6, 1942 - June 8, 2018

Sadly, our dear Penny left us June 8, after a brave struggle. She will be sorely missed by her sister (Marilyn) and brother (Peter) as well as other family members and many treasured friends. Penny was an exceptional teacher who influenced the lives of countless children, many of whom still remember her, and stayed in touch, years after her retirement. Penny was also an accomplished stitcher, producing exquisite examples of needlework, and she remained actively involved in the Vancouver Guild of Embroiderers. Above all else, she was the best sister one could ever hope for. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the ICU and Renal Unit at VGH for the care and comfort they provided her. In lieu of flowers a donation to the VGH Renal Unit or another cause of your choice would be appreciated.
