With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mohammad Chaman Ara, who passed away peacefully in Burnaby on June 27, 2025, at the age of 76.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Akram Amini, and by his children Shahram, Ali, Peyman, and Shabnam. A respected and retired lawyer from Iran, Mohammad was known for his integrity, wisdom, and compassion. He and his wife moved to Canada 12 years ago, continuing a legacy of love, strength, and resilience in a new homeland.
Mohammad’s memory lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Mohammadhosein, William, Shervin, Benjamin, Charlie, and Ava, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law Zahra, Sarah, and Marzieh, his son-in-law Kam and his sister Manizeh.
A man of quiet strength and deep family values, Mohammad found his greatest happiness in spending time with his grandchildren, and in the simple pleasures of gardening and farming—passions that reflected his nurturing spirit and his connection to the natural world.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to grow in the hearts and lives of all who knew and loved him.
