It is with sadness that the family of Megan Elizabeth Gildersleve announces her passing on February 3, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Megan was born on August 27, 1956 in Bella Coola, British Columbia to her parents Frank and Joyce Gildersleve. Predeceased by Frank and Joyce, Megan is survived by her spouse, Dan Kelley, her siblings Barry (Linda), Jill, Debbie, and Karen (Les), her children Clark (Shannon) and Jolene Lansdowne and her one grandchild Allison McConechy (Clark’s daughter). Megan’s family loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at BCCA and VGH for their kind care during her illness.

A celebration of Megan’s life will be held Saturday, February 20th at 2:00PM, at the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, 7600 Halifax St., Burnaby. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Family Services of Greater Vancouver, www.fsgv.ca
