Loraine Gladys Heal

To know Loraine Gladys Heal is to love her. 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mom, and Gigi. 

She passed away peacefully on August 3, 2023 surrounded with the love of her husband of 55 years, Leo, and her three children, Tanya, Vicki, and Sean.  

Loraine’s greatest love was her family, although she accomplished many things in her amazing life, above all else, she wanted to be a “Mom”. She showered her husband, Leo with love and respect.  Mom adored her children, Tanya, Vicki, and Sean. Gigi spoiled her three grandchildren, Taylor, Kaiden, and Cole. And she warmly opened her arms to her sons-in-law, Alvin and Jonathan, and daughter-in-law, Minam.  

Loraine made friends everywhere she went. She never turned a blind eye to anyone in need. She would want us all to continue approaching life with joy, kindness, empathy, and love. Let us always remember our “Gigi” for her cheerful disposition, vibrant smile, and contagious laugh. She is now at peace and has walked into the loving arms of her parents, Gladys and Vern.  

Please join us for her Funeral Service on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at All Saints Anglican Church, 7405 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5J 4J8. 

Followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 am at Pacific Heritage Cemetery, 4305 Halifax Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 3X4. Reception to follow at All Saints Anglican Church at 1:00 pm.
