Joan Marlay

February 8, 1921 - London, UK September 27, 2014 - Vancouver, BC Joan passed away peacefully at Blenheim Lodge at 93 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and is survived by her daughter Victoria and son Michael (Leah). She moved to Canada in 1944, but remained proud of her English heritage and London birthplace and subsequently loved visiting her family in England, almost every year. She was a devoted wife and mother who occasionally worked outside the home, most notably as a Yoga teacher. Our sincere thank you to the staff at Blenheim Lodge for their wonderful care of our mother. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL, 690 Burrard Street, Vancouver.
