Jean Booth Obituary

JEAN BOOTH

1928 - 2016

Jean was born in 1928 to William (Bill) and Ethel Bellamy near Viscount, Saskatchewan and was the 8th child of 11 children. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Johnson, four sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jean had a heart of gold and loved to help others. She was the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back if she felt you needed it more than she did. Over the years she contributed to the local community with donations of sewing and knitting to local charity fundraising events.

Jean was a loving, caring mother who taught us what the most important things in life were, especially spending time with family. Her family, friends and the community will sadly miss her.

A Celebration of Jean's Life was held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 344 Fort St, Hope, BC.

Jean will be interred at the Hope Legion Cemetery.
