Gordon’s life started in the Kingston, Ontario army camp where he was born, the third of five children. He lived in Jericho and then Ladner army camps where he attended school at Lord Byng and then graduated from Delta Secondary.

His career in the gas industry allowed him to work worldwide until he went on to establish his own company in human relations. He worked out of the local union hall, teaching conflict resolution and encouraging youth across BC to take up the trades.

Gordon’s life passion was the beautiful game of Soccer, he played and refereed. He was a director of the British Columbia Soccer Association and is on the Honour Roll. Gordon was also a Freemason and a Past Master of Progress Lodge No. 87 on the register of the Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon, as was his father. He fathered 2 children in his first marriage and has a stepson with his current spouse. Gordon’s accomplishments are numerous, he didn’t waste the life he was given and until cancer took him, he continued working.
