In the loving memories of Garren Jaidee Ancheta

Garren Jaidee Ancheta, son of Gary Ancheta and Julie Ventura, with the deepest sorrow that we announce his unexpected passing at the age of 18 at Burnaby Hospital on February 13th, 2026. He was born at BC Woman’s Hospital on November 8th, 2007 and resided his whole life in Burnaby, BC. 

A brilliant mind, brave personality and selfless soul, Garren progressed at Lakeview Elementary School as well as attended and graduated at Burnaby Central Secondary School. Garren enjoyed gym class, spending time with his friends, and playing games on his computer. Garren grew interest in jewelry making which he planned to study for this coming April at Lasalle College in Vancouver. 

Garren is survived by his mom and dad, Julie Ventura, Gary Ancheta; his two sisters, Diana Ancheta and Althea Ancheta; his loving grandparents, uncles & aunts as well as his many loving cousins. 

Known for his infectious laugh and bright smile, Garren will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues. His motto to always be brave, smart, kind and strong will always continue to inspire us all.
