Gail Heuchert

Gail M. Heuchert passed away on October 31, 2013 at the age of 69 years. She leaves to mourn her mother, Louise Heuchert, of Lemberg, SK; her sister Lorna Heuchert (Bob McNeil), of Flin Flon, MB; her brother George Heuchert (Lois), of Lemberg, SK; her nephew Paul Heuchert (Brandie, Nelson, Charlotte), of Perdue, SK; her niece Leigh Maxwell (Dan, Addison) of Spruce Grove, AB; her nephew Kyle Heuchert of Regina, SK; her brother-in-law Ron Roffey of Brosseau, AB; her nephew Keith Roffey, of Edmonton, AB; her nephew Dean (Lucille, Brandon, Dylan) of Edmonton, AB. Gail was predeceased by her father, Paul Heuchert, and her sister Lenore Roffey. Gail was born in Melville, Saskatchewan. She spent her early years living on the farm north of Lemberg. The family moved to town when it was time for her to go to school. She completed her grade school in Lemberg. At the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Technology. Gail then began her career with the RCMP in their Crime Labs. This took her to Regina, Ottawa, Sackville, and Vancouver. Whenever the work got too familiar, technology would change, making her work interesting again. She retired in 2001. Gail had strong interests in antiques and collectibles. She completed several Master Gardener programs. Gail was an accomplished seamstress, tailoring many of her own clothes. Knowledge of wines was a life-long interest. Add to these Bridge, Ikebana, Travel, Good Music, Good Food and Good Friends. A Celebration of Gail's Life will be held for her friends and family.
