Fritz Dressel

February 1936 - November 2015

Peacefully, and in the presence of his family, Fritz Dressel passed away at Vancouver General Hospital, on Thursday, November 26th, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Loving husband of Irma, beloved father of Barbara (Jay) and Robert (Shannon). Dear Opa to Zach, Suzy, Jodie, Adam, Katie and Megan. Survived by brother Karl-Heinz (Pamela), sisters Hannelore and Annemarie (Gerhard) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Marcus (2007) sadly missed by daughter-in-law, Kristina (Jim).

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at OAKRIDGE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 585 West 41st Avenue, Vancouver.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Oakridge Lutheran Church or the German Canadian Benevolent Society, both of which were near to Fritz’s heart, or a charity of your choice. May the memories of his generous and caring spirit live forever in all our hearts.
