Erzsebet (nee Kovacs) Kalman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother on May 28, 2022.  Born June 26th, 1935 in Petohenye, Hungary.

She is mourned by her loving husband Laszlo, children Robert (Leanne) and Sylvia (Peter), and grandchildren Elizabeth, Jason and Eva. Erzsebet met Laszlo on one of his visits to Hungary and it was love at first sight.  They were married in Vancouver in 1972 and enjoyed 50 wonderful years together. They were blessed with their two wonderful children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. They did some traveling back to Hungary a few times and she loved their Reno bus trips. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 1810 East 7th Ave. in Vancouver followed by a Graveside Service at Pacific Heritage Cemetery, 4305 Halifax Street in Burnaby.
