Emily Aoife Lavin

We are heartbroken by the loss of our beautiful daughter Emily.

Emily was born on April 21st, 2005 in Burnaby and passed away on December 8th 2020 at BC Children’s Hospital, surrounded by her parents Karen and Daragh and her brother Adam.

Emily was a joy to be around. Her huge smile brightened the lives of those around her.  She was a passionate animal lover who loved to ride horses and knew all the dogs in the neighborhood by name. She was a keen athlete and who played soccer and lacrosse, participated on her high school gymnastics team and she recently earned her black belt in taekwondo. Emily loved listening to music, watching the Big Bang Theory and hanging out with her friends.

Emily will be hugely missed by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, her friends at high school and everyone who played sports with her.

Rest in peace darling Emily …. until we can hold you again.
