CHARLOTTE SCOTT June 25, 1933 - April 11, 2026 It is with deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Charlotte Scott (nee Shaw), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cherished aunt and friend. Charlotte will be remembered as a woman of grace, quiet strength and kindness. Her life was rooted in compassion, resilience and faith. Her kind heart and generous spirit touched those around her and she was deeply loved by family and friends. Charlotte was born in Vancouver to Samuel and Charlotte Shaw, predeceased by her husband, W. Bruce Scott, sisters Evelyn Brisbois (Owen), Shirley Forsyth (Jim), brother John Shaw (Dee) and stepdaughters, Lesley Armstrong and Valerie Edwards. Charlotte leaves behind daughter Marilyn Whittingham, son Robert Scott (Diana Wearne), grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends, who will forever treasure her guidance, strength and unwavering love. Charlotte found happiness in everyday pleasures that made life feel full - tending her garden, enjoying rounds of golf, painting and long walks on the seawall. She especially loved the companionship of her dogs, whose company brought her laughter, comfort and joy over many years. Charlotte’s legacy is one of love, kindness, faith and connection. Her steady presence will be dearly missed by all. The family would like thank Charlotte’s dear friends, the Callahan family and the Graham family for all the friendship, kindness, generosity, support and the valuable gift of their time over the many years. A service to honour Charlotte’s life will he held on Sunday, May 3 at 1:30 pm at West Vancouver United Church, 2062 Esquimalt Avenue, West Vancouver.
