Barbara Polowy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara (nee Wardrop) on May 20, 2021 with family at her side. Barbara was born June 5, 1944 at Grace Hospital in Vancouver and graduated from King Edward High School in 1962 and retired in 1999 after 28 years with BC TEL.

She is survived by husband Kenneth, sister Mary Donaldson (Victor) and cousins Tom Kitchen (Victoria) and Linda (Stephen) in Nova Scotia and predeceased by her brother Bobby Wardrop.

Barbara had an intelligent and curious mind. Among many other things, she devoted herself to the study and practice of meditation and spirituality. As cousin Tom said: she was elegant, fun, funny, critical, sarcastic, generous and kind. Barbara Gail will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. It is just goodbye for now.
