Andrew John Ytsma of Vancouver, BC, passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on December 15, 2015. Andy was born June 28, 1959 in Chatham Ontario, the son of Albert and Jenny Ytsma.

Dearly missed by all of us, Andrew is survived by his mother Jenny of Chatham Ontario; his daughter Maya Viel-Ytsma and Maya’s mother Patricia Viel of Vancouver; his sister Bonnie (Kees Veenman) of Abbotsford BC; his brother Jerry (Jill Hooker) of Chatham Ontario; and, his brother Al (Sharon MacFarlane) of West Vancouver BC. Pre-deceased by his father, Albert; and his sister, Nienke. He also leaves his Uncle Jerry and Aunt Leah Ytsma of Chatham Ontario; his Uncle Al and Aunt Beth Bouw of Florida; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins in BC, Alberta, Ontario, China, the Netherlands, USA, New Zealand and Australia. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Martin Brothers Funeral Services of Vancouver. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 21, 2015 at West Point Grey United Church Community Hall, 4595 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC (West 8th and Tolmie). Reception to follow.
